Akhtar Mansour
Mullah Akhtar Mohammad Mansoor (Pashto: اختر محمد منصور Akhtar Muḥammad Manṣūr; pronounced how to say: /ɑːktɑː mɑːnsjʊər/ or how to say: /æktɑː mænsjʊər/; born probably in 1968[1]) was the Emir (leader) of the Taliban, an Islamic fundamentalist political movement in Afghanistan also known as the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan (a recently created title).
On 21 May 2016, it was reported by a United States Department of Defense official that Mansour had been killed in a U.S. drone strike in Pakistan.[2][3]
