Andrew Paulson

Andrew Paulson (November 13, 1958 – July 18, 2017) was an American entrepreneur. He was the son of noted American professor Ronald Paulson. His business career was mainly established in Russia.[1][2]

Shortly after the Russian financial crisis of August 1998, Paulson, together with Anton Kudryashov and Ilya Tsentsiper, founded Afisha,[3] an entertainment and listings magazine that became the cultural touchstone of Moscow and St. Petersburg. In 2006, Paulson with Alexander Mamut founded SUP Media,[4] which became Russia’s largest online media company, consisting of LiveJournal.[5]

Paulson died on July 18, 2017 from lung cancer at the age of 59.[6]
