Arthur Moeller van den Bruck

Arthur Moeller van den Bruck was a German historian. In 1905 he published a cultural history of Germany in eight volumes. During World War I he was in a foreign affairs section of the German Army. in 1923 he published a book called Das Dritte Reich which influenced various right-wing politicians in Germany, including Adolph Hitler. He thought Hitler could not become important and the political hope of the future was Benito Mussolini. Van den Bruck committed suicide in 1925.
