Chelsea, Massachusetts

Chelsea is a city in Suffolk County, Massachusetts. It is directly across the Mystic River from the city of Boston. As of 2020, the population of Chelsea was 40,787.[2]

Chelsea is a diverse working-class community. It has a lot of industrial activity. It is one of only three Massachusetts cities in which most of the people are Hispanic or Latino. (The other two are Lawrence and Holyoke.)

Chelsea was named after a neighborhood in London, England.
