I roughly translated Nazi/German terms into English, as I believe it provides greater intelligibility for the reader. This includes:
Generalbezirk - General District
Gotengau - Goth District
Ostland - Eastland
Reich - Empire
Reichsgau - Empirical District
Reichskommissariat - Empirical Commissariat
Siedlungskolonie - Settlement
Stützpunkte - support points
I used the English place names as they were generally written at the time (Kiev, Kharkov). Where unsure, I used the modern name. I made an exception for Theoderichhafen, the name which the Germans planned to use for Sevastopol.
