Description The HD DVD drive for the Xbox 360 video game console, allowing for playback of HD DVD movies on the Xbox 360. The add-on was released in November 2006 at $199, coming with a remote and a copy of the film King Kong on HD DVD. After the failure and discontinuation of the HD DVD format in 2008, remaining stock was liquidated and sold for deep discounts at stores.
