Lawrence Weiner

Lawrence Charles Weiner (February 10, 1942 – December 2, 2021) was an American conceptual artist. He was an important person in the creation of conceptual art in the 1960s.[1] His works were usually a form of word art.

Weiner died on December 2, 2021, in New York City from prostate cancer at the age of 79.[2][3]
