Biography

Suzuki was born in Montego Bay, Jamaica on February 11, 1994. After graduating from Kiryu Daiichi High School, he joined J1 League club Albirex Niigata in 2012. Although he played many matches as forward, he could not scored many goals. In August 2015, he moved to J2 League club Mito HollyHock on loan. In 2016, he returned to Niigata. In August 2017, he moved to J2 club Matsumoto Yamaga FC on loan. In 2018, he moved to newly was promoted to J1 League club, V-Varen Nagasaki. Although he scored 11 goals in 2018, Nagasaki finished at the bottom place and was relegated to J2. In 2019, he moved to J1 club Hokkaido Consadole Sapporo. Sapporo won the 2nd place in the 2019 J.League Cup. In August 2020, he moved to Belgian First Division A club Beerschot.

In 2011, Suzuki was selected the Japan U-17 national team for 2011 U-17 World Cup and played in 4 matches. In 2016, he played for the Japan U-23 national team at 2016 AFC U-23 Championship. Japan won the champions and qualified for the 2016 Summer Olympics. At 2016 Summer Olympics, he played 2 matches and scored 1 goal. On March 22, 2019, he debuted for the Japan national team against Colombia.
