You can now learn to play piano from a hologram piano teacher

Teomirn is an app for Microsoft's HoloLens that projects a virtual reality (specifically mixed reality) piano teacher into your home. Isn't technology mind-blowing?

Microsoft has created an app, Teomirn, in line with its HoloLens technology which projects a hologram of a music teacher. You can play alongside your virtual teacher, watch them play over their shoulder and learn countless pieces of music.

Some people have viewed the technology as the future of education, as well as having great potential in assisting other things such as medical recovery. However, others believe it encourages bad musical technique as the player is relying solely on their eyes rather than learning proper music theory and technique.
