Hey, dont beat yourself up over it, cheer up! You were very brave for admitting your mistake, and for that you should be proud of yourself. Just remember not everyone is going to look like bob ross right away, (a super famous painter!) but I hope that maybe you can give a few tries and make your art and your style your own!
Im a fellow artist as well, and let me tell you we all start somewhere. My first drawing I ever posted online was a drawn over picture from leapfrog, and I showed my brother pictures someone else did claiming I did it. It is not something I like looking back on, but one thing led to another, many other artists telling me to quit using MS Paint, others making fun of me, and eventually my art ending up on a hate-mail thread. I been there.
Now, I am proud to say that I draw quite well now, after practicing, and I still stick to my cute round head style, and draw little puppy and kitty characters, and it even gathered the attention of some high end artists, one who has been my friend cheering me on for the last 3 years~! You may not think much of your art now, but with practice, I guarantee you will get better. :)
Heres doctor strangeglove and baby nodkins, from moshi monsters I drew! (I dont wanna actually post my deviantart account here) I did this picture ENTIRELY in mspaint and krita! even though the other people said that I would get nowhere in that! But I kept practicing and practicing, and I now have my own style :) Remember if your an artist in your heart, then you are an artist. Even if you find your own way!
So go in, try again, and try not to judge yourself to much. Draw what you feel and let your emotion flow to the page <3
