Okay so,

We got so many upvotes on "Let's Try To Get The Most Answers" that we glitched the page :D

Thanks so much KidzSearchers, we're over 1/2 way to 1,000 answers!

We removed the "+" sign in order to keep the same size font. Since it is not possible to give downvotes, this works and allows a higher number of votes to display on all devices, including mobile that we tested. If a post manages to get over 999 votes, we will have to update things again. You may need to clear your browser/device cache to get the update.

If a post gets 1000 upvotes you can use abbreviated numbers so it will say +1K upvotes

Not sure that would help the current issue, but will look into it. We have a lot of custom code, so it is a lot of work to update.

It might not help with the current issue but it will make the platform more clean in general. Also you said that you would update to 1.8.6 over winter break...

It is much more involved than we thought and will work on it over the summer break. We just increased the font to make it look better now.

You should update the qa software to the latest version and I bet it will fix a lot of bugs like this. Also turn on abbreviated numbers (a feature in the latest version that eliminates clutter)

Um Kidzsearch it seems to be stuck at 99 upvotes now even though I've gotten a few more upvotes notifications for the post

It worked for us when we upvoted it. You can't upvote something more than once from the same IP. If you try a second time it will remove a vote (toggle).
