Circumfrence can't exactly help you. But, circumfrence is the diameter (the measure across a circle) multiplied by pi. It can sort of help you make a circle that can have a certain circumfrence.

P.S. Can I have best answer please?

Circumference is the measurement of the outer rim of a circle. Circumference is pi * diameter.

Circumference is helpful to you because then you can find the other things, such as the diameter (the line that goes across the center), the radius (a line that comes off the diameter), the arc ( the curve a part of the circumference), and  the area or the circle( pi * radis doubled).

Hope this helps!!

Been really quiet here lately. Hope everyone is enjoying Summer Break!

Circumference is a measure of the length of a circle around the perimeter. You can imagine walking on the edge of a circle and measuring each step until you get back to where you started.  It is very helpful for people who do math, scientists, engineers, artists, designers and many more.  Closed loops are everywhere you look, so being able to measure it is important. For example, if you know the circumference of a circle you can calculate the area and the diameter.

{C}=\pi\cdot{d}={2}\cdot\pi\cdot{r}.\!

A=πr²
C=2πr
C=πD
A = C²/4π
