What is your opinion on Guns?

I think guns need to be accepted in modern day society.

Reason: The right to bear arms is a CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHT, Guns are not dangerous (it is the people who are dangerous), And most importantly it is a RIGHT that our VETERANS, CURRANT SOLDIERS, and the ONES THAT GAVE THEIR LIVES, have fought to keep.

I think guns should not belong in everyday homes. Recently, a teenager shot and killed one child and badly injured two other people because he had access to a gun. That is not ok. I think guns should go to trained military professionals, and if anybody else wants one, they should go through intense backround checks and perhaps leave their guns at the shop unless they are going hunting

I agree and I also think we could use guns for protection. My neighbor has a gun and she has kids in her house! The reason why is that there are many animals such as bears and foxes  that come and go in our neighborhood. If a predator comes and attacks, people can protect themselves with the gun. Guns should only be with police, veterans, people who are preparing for protection, and trusted people who have a right. People such as terrorists obviously can't have a gun. I think there has to be a scanner in every gun shop or military bases like the things that go 'beep, beep, beep' when you stole or have something from a store. But instead of stealing, the scanners would check if you are doing it for good or bad. So yes, I agree with you, Country Boy

That is a good point, but we can't trust that society will follow rules. Humanity has made dire mistakes before. I think more restrictions on guns would be great. Do you want more people dying in the world? (Rhetorical question)
