Chicago has guns banned.

So how does chicago have one of the highest death and crime rate?

Because, the guns are not bad. The people are.

In Chicago (and all places with guns banned), the bad people have guns (when they are not supposed to), and the good people, the people that followed the rules (of not owning a gun), suffer from the bad people. Because then the good people can't defend themselves. And if you see a shooting happening, what are you gonna do? Call the police? well by the time they arrive, many people will be dead.

Guns are dangerous. But it is about the people, not the guns.
