There are two topics you can choose from:
Topic One: Chimney sweeping. Show people how chimney sweeps lived. At the beginning of the story, the main character should be 4-6 years old and a sweep in training. Anything you want can happen then but the only exception is to show him turn 10 at the end of the beginning. Skip ages 11-20. Show the effects of sweeping chimneys when the sweep in training has turned 21. Then show that the sweep in training has become a real chimney sweep. Show him kidnapping another 4-6 year old from school or church. Anything you want can happen after he kidnaps the child. When the man turns 50, show him become a criminal or a beggar.
Topic Two: Slavery. Show the life of a young slave. The young slave should be 8-12 years old and can be a boy or a girl. Show the young slave working on a corn, cotton, or sugar plantation. Show the young slave misbehave at least once. The end of the story can be whatever you want.
