(This song is of my own invention; there may be similar songs, but this is written originally by me!) Railroad (About life, describing life as if it is like a railroad)
Verse 1: A one way ticket for a one way train,
Each hardship becomes a stain
On my train's damaged caboose,
But I can't let my heart loose.
Verse 2: Rattling off under the sky,
The trains beside me push by,
The occupants' lives slowly draining.
Verse 3: Up hills of dependence,
Hearts full of expectance,
Only to see the steep drop,
On the other side.
Verse 4: Trying to slow the train,
Scrub off the stains,
To make our lives better and longer.
Verse 5: But the brakes are gone,
The railroad may be long,
But over hills, around corners,
Who knows what lays ahead.
Verse 6: Headed towards fire or light,
Reaching out into the night,
To a blazing torch that flickers and dies.
Verse 7: While the world heals,
While the evil kill,
I'll be in my one-way train,
The brakes gone and the doors locked.
