Chapter One
Lola
It was the dog days of summer, and Savannah, Ben, and Griffin were painting Luther's new doghouse fire truck red. "Stop! Now we have to paint Luther's name in all caps!," said Savannah. "In what color?," said Ben. "Black.," said Savannah. They took turns writing each letter in Luther's name. Savanah wrote the L, Griffin wrote the U, Ben wrote the T, and so on until Ben had written the last letter in Luther's name.
"Luther, your new doghouse is finished!," said Savannah. But Luther was focused in something else. "What are you looking at, Luther?," said Savannah. "Look for yourself.," said Griffin.
Savannah saw a Doberman wearing a light pink collar studded with diamonds. The collar had a silver heart (which was a dog tag) hanging from it. The same dog was wearing a light pink tutu.
"Isn't she gorgeous?," said Ben. Luther seemed to agree, since he could stare at nothing else. "Hey, I know that lady. She's Ms. Rodriguez. She's very glamorous. She just moved in next to my house.," said Griffin. "What's her dog's name?," said Savannah. "Lola.," said Griffin. "That's a cute name.," said Savannah.
"I have a plan.," said Griffin. "What's your plan?," said Savannah.
