I followed June as she walked confidently down the dark hallways of the Orphanage. Her head was high as she took sharp corners and then she came to a stop. She knocked on a door engraved with "MR BROWN" and whispered in the keyhole,
"Prosper, dear Empire; let our future flow, no matter how long the path beyond goes; live long the Empire!"
And the door swung open. Mr. Brown looked at us, and said,
"I've already heard what happened. Cmon, we have to go to the dock."
The rest was a blur. Getting on the boat, riding our Jivaes to the Fort across miles of wild land, and then we stopped. The Fort lay in ruins and we saw a Crystal Soilder.
Spear in hand, he faced Mr. Brown. Then Mr. Brown withdrew his sword and the flames began to whip around us, and June had disappeared. She had run back to the Orphanage to alert the others.
The battle began.
The Soilder blasted an ice shard from his spear, and it hit Mr. Brown in the eyes. He let out a howl and stumbled towards me.
"I'm blinded!"
"What do you expect me to do?!"
"Healing magic. Let your body pour into it. It's like Blaze Swording... the simplest form only heals one part. The simplest is eyes... you can do it, Lens." He said.
I put my hand to his eyes, and then I focused on them. Mind and soul, healing and hurting... and then it happened. Fire went over his eyes and it seeped into the eyes.
Then he got up and the fight became bloody. Finally, the Soilder shrieked and leapt away.
We summoned over Jivaes and rode slowly towards the lake of the Orphanage. Mr. Brown threw a hair of his Jivae into the water and then a boat appeared, weaved with grey hair.
The few moments we were away, fire had developed the Orphanage. All the Orphans were standing there, the flames reflected in their eyes. I joined them and looked far and hard at it. My home, not for long, was gone.

"OK. Orphans of the Empire, you have survived the worse attack on an establishment in Empire history. You have held true to the slogan, 'We are not your children'. Now, it is time for you to become Emerald Warriors." said the Foster Authority woman, standing at a podium in front of the burned down Orphanage. She actually was the general of the Emerald Army. "Your first mission is to go into the Dynasty territory."
"We will avenge ourselves!" shouted June from beside me.
I looked at the woman and stood up from my seat. "I will avenge those who killed my family."
