Hi guys! I'm going to try to do one review a day. Today's review is TouchSurgery, a great app for learning surgery. I recommend it to people who are curious about becoming doctors. Take note I am using pictures I took and that they are used educationally.
TouchSurgery is a simulation that walks you through realistic surgeries and is free!!! I really like it, as it takes you through a lesson, which you can repeat, and then a test. A good part is that your profile is not public, and it is only visible to you while in the app.
Although it may not be suitable for younger ages, because of the realism, it is perfect for teens and tweens. I know you'll love it.
I would rate it 4 stars. I would give it another star if they defined the medical terms they use. They ask you a series of questions when you sign up on the app, so pick "non-medic" when you set up your profile (which can be changed) and interests (breast cancer study, liver, etc). This helps them prepare surgeries for you based on your level.
