If we had no stars, then we would not get any light energy because the sun, the main producer of light energy, would be gone. There would be no plants because they would not get the light energy they need to produce food in a process known as photosynthesis. It would be night all the time because the sun would not be there to produce daylight. Though the earth would still rotate, it would be winter all the time because the earth would be far from the sun forever because the sun would not exist. Winter occurs when the earth is far from the sun. As for the other stars, night would be very dark all the time because the stars would not be there to illuminate the night. There would be no constellations because the stars would not be there to form them.
