Why Cogsworth from the Animated Beauty and the Beast says: "If it's not Baroque, don't fix it."

In Disney's animated Beauty and the Beast, Cogsworth says: "If it's not Baroque, don't fix it." 

Though it is a wise quote, it is hard to tell why he said it. 

This is why he said it: 

There is a Baroque Vermeer painting in Beast's castle.

The painting is to the right of Cogsworth. 

The painting is called Girl With A Pearl Earring and it is by Baroque Vermeer.

because its funny lol. the dudes name sounds like broke and the normal saying goes "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" and he just changed it with his name hahaha

It is a word play games. With the word baroque sounding similar to "broke" he is referring to the phrase "if it is not broke dont fix it"
