It's an anime about Ichigo Kurosaki, a teenage boy who meets Rukia, a Soul Reaper. He can see ghosts and can therefore see her, and because his family is in danger from another ghost, he turns into a Reaper to protect them, and it's basically his story and some awesome fighting sequences.
