Chapter 16
Beatrice laid her green eyes blankly at mine, slowly walking down the grassy trail, and John's eyes weak. My hooves clattered on a stone road, as Knight, Beatrice and John laid silent on a grassy, firm road. My head was raised high, as Beatrice dropped hers to her chest.
I sighed, coming closer to her, looking at the horizon. Mountains piled over mountains, and amazement was shocked with the glory of the sight. "You two, we better go to an Mr. Freduts's cottage, a rather nice old man," I smiled, but no one had eye contact with me, or barely heard me. It was night, but I couldn't tell the time, for my eyes couldn't tell the stars.
We all walked through the lone woods, while not even a whisper followed us. It was rather too quiet almost. I grinned, pointing my hooves to the distance, my grey eyes staring at the stars, lining up for all to see. It reminded me when I was human, with skinny legs and a mouth that smiled widely.
After walking what seemed hours, my mane went in the way of me eyes, causing me to trip on a rock. "Ouch," I whispered annoyed to myself, and Beatrice strangely made a slow reaction. "Are you okay?" She looked down, but then walking over to me, placing her arms around me. She had her head on my neck, as I couldn't walk. The two boys were behind us, as Beatrice held on to me tightly.
She snored a little, but not something that caught my attention. I clapped my hooves to the solid, rocky ground. I went extremely slow, trying to not make Beatrice fall. She slowly tilted her head, scaring me a little. She had a cold stare on her face, her eyes staring at my own expression.
"Thank you," she whispered so faintly, I barely heard her. "Uh-no problem," I silently said. She didn't respond, but I heard a noise behind me say something. I looked behind, finding myself by John, a boy with brown hair so dark almost black, and blue eyes that caught Beatrice's attention most of the time.
"How much longer?" I heard Knight complain, and I felt someone's hair touch my back slightly. I looked at Beatrice's head comfortably hit my back, and her otherworldly clothing rub against me. She wore a red sweat shirt and blue pants, it was a fair amount of time since I've seen clothing like that. It brought back beautiful memories swirling around my thoughts.
We were there, a rather short building with unpleasant decorations. Beatrice was surprised, almost too suprised. She was finally awake, which made my thoughts unravel.
Short, I know! I'm making this with my phone, and it's really hard! Also, sorry for the bad grammar an not making a story in a long time! I had Silens I on my mind! I will post another one today or tomorrow! I hope you liked it!
