The principal sighed. "What happened in your view, Monica?" He asked the human barbie doll that now had a bloody nose. "Well, I was simply trying to sit down, when this mean girl pushed me out of the wa-" "EXCUSE ME!? I WAS THERE FIRST YOU LITTLE-" I interruted Monica before the principal slammed his hands on his desk getting both our attentions. "I asked Monica, you will have a chance to speak later Emily" the principal said. I mumbled "More like never" but he didn't hear me. Monica went on with her lying story making herself sound completely innocent. Then it was my turn. I told him about how I was in the seat first, Monica came over trying to make me move, and she called me a "delinqent" and then I punched her in the face and got the bloody nose. "Those stories don't exactly match up" the principal said. "That would be because only one is a story!" I said looking at Monica. "Cool it, Emily. I brought in someone from when this happened to help straiten this out" the principal said. "Maya! Can you come in here?" He said to another room. From the other room a girl with long brown hair, wearing a green dress walked in and sat in an empty chair next to me. "What did you see happen, Maya?" The principal asked her. "Well, Emily had come into the classroom, she sat down in an empty spot, then Monica walked in demanding Emily move and give her that spot, Monica started calling Emily names, and then Emily started getting mad and punched Monica." Maya said. "In other words, Monica is a big liar" me and Maya said at the same time, then looked at each other for a moment.
"Monica, detention. Maya, you can go, as for Emily, I want to talk a moment with you" the principal said. Monica and Maya left the principals office while I stayed seated. "Emily, I know things have been different since your parents di-" the principal started before I interruted. "Let me stop you there, Sir. This has nothing to do with what happened to my parents, it has to do with Miss Pinky Princess back there thinking she owns the world. I have gotten over what happened to my parents a long time ago, I'm tired of everyone thinking all I do is from what happened to my parents, alright? Let me spell it out for you: I-M F-I-N-E!" I said before rushing out of the principal's office and slamming the door. I lied. I have never gotten over my parent's death. It has haunted my dreams every night since I was 10.
I walked the halls and found Monica trying to beat up Maya in the hallway. I ran over and pushed Monica away from Maya. "Stay away from her" I said to Monica, I checked on Maya, her arm was bleeding so I took her to the nurse. The nurse fixed up Maya's arm and we left the nurse's office.
"Hey, want to be friends?" Maya asked me. I looked surprised for a moment that someone actually wanted to be my friend. " Sure, whatever" I said to Maya. Maya made a way over-excited face. We went to our classes.
How do you guys like this so far? I had to stop in the first chapter (yes, that was still me even thought non-sense numbers were in the name) and here is the second chapter. I would love any ideas or suggestions for the story!
