OVERVIEW OF WARRIOR CATS:
"Warriors is a series of novels published by HarperCollins. It is written by authors Kate Cary, Cherith Baldry, and Tui Sutherland, with the plot developed by editor Victoria Holmes, who collectively use the pseudonym Erin Hunter. The series follows the adventures of four, later five, clans of wild cats—ThunderClan, ShadowClan, WindClan, RiverClan, and SkyClan, who were not introduced into the territories until A Vision of Shadows —in their forest and lake homes. They look up to StarClan, the spirits of their warriors ancestors, who guide the four clans. They also follow the warrior code, a set of rules established in order to keep the clans as civil factions."
The cat who is the main character of this little fanfic is a cat I have had for a long time, GalaxySong. BTW, you should at least read the first series to understand this completely. It takes place at the end of FOREST OF SECRETS and the remainder of the first series. Also, sorry if it doesn't follow the story completely: the parents of GalaxySong are canon, as is her siblings.
A/N: The story will start with GalaxySong as an apprentice.
PROLOGUE
The silver pool was rippling with the wind: every time a gust came down, the glowing reflections of the cats around it was disturbed. The glittering cats of StarClan had come down to speak amongst themselves about the newest ThunderClan kit, their voices carried into the soft breeze like a song on this dark night.
"The mixed-blood kit?" one warrior hissed with distaste, "The traitor kit of RiverClan's Silverstream and ThunderClan's Graystripe?"
"Yes," said another cat impatiently. "But she did not choose to be the kit of these two. Neither did her siblings, Stormkit and Featherkit. She has choosen to stay with her father instead of with her brother and sister. Maybe no bad blood will come of this."
"We hope," said a queen. She seemed a bit hopeful. "Another ThunderClan cat would do them good.."
"But what if she has to meet her siblings in battle? Will it be loyalty over kin, or the other way around? I tell you, nothing good could come out of this. Nothing good can ever come out of it!" said the first warrior, and with a swift wave of his tail, he vanished.
