Silens I Chapter 6
Hazyl's POV
I twisted my hands in my lap. That morning, Asia had had a fit of the shivers, and she looked worse off than before, but better than a few days ago. Tom and Lucas walked in to say hi to us. After a short conversation, I noticed the untrusting look on Tom's face: he seemed suspicious of us, like we were hiding something.
"Care to tell me why you look like one of us is gonna jump up and stab you?"
Tom glanced at me with a swift, sharp look. "You're hiding something, aren't you? What's going on?"
I glanced up. Outside, the clouds were grey and a storm had started.
"There's nothing going on," said Willow, hastily, but she said it in a way that blew our cover/ Biting her lip when she saw my face, she said sorry just as quickly: but I stopped her and put my hand up.
"We're leaving. Asia, me, Willow." I said.
The boys looked at us with sheer shock. "W-what?" said Lucas.
"Asia's dying, and well, we thought it'd be best-"
"No!" Lucas roared, and all of us jumped, even Tom. I glanced at Willow, who looked shaken. Asia looked too tired and worn that she couldn't really feel anything, but a look of exhausted shock crossed her face. Lucas sat down beside her, and despite being blind, looked right into her eyes.
"Why do you always leave when I need you?" he hissed.
Asia's POV
I glanced up, weary. "I didn't make the choice," I said. "I'm fully against it, but these two girls are powerful and, and, and they could take me and I couldn't fight back. Plus..." I sighed, and pulled back my hair, where a large black scar resided on my neck. "They saw this the day I got back here."
Lucas stood up. "Please don't take her," he said. He looked at Hazyl and Willow, who stared back at him, as he waited for their answer
Sorry it's so short, had a TON to do today!
