As I said in my other co-op story, "Monster School", I am having a rather depressing summer (see that story's intro for more info why). I am very sorry for not being able to write. This chapter may be a little short, as I started school today and need to give it my full attention. I don't usually plan my chapters and usually wing it, so this'll be no different. So, what's next for Silens? Let's take a look.
It was smoky and dark. The air was suffocating.
Asia jerked awake, panting. She took a breath and glanced about the room: it had large items, was a bit rundown, and had a large statue in the corner.
"How are yer?" said a voice. What she thought was a statue had moved, and she came to realize it was a very tall man. His eyes sparked under a mat of dark hair. She recognized him almost immediately.
"Hagrid? Rubeus Hagrid?"
"Them people's just call me Hagrid," he said good naturedly.
"Why am I here?"
"It's dangerous for you to be inside the school," he said gruffly. " You were removed off the student list. You have to register back, but that'd be equally dangerous. Everyone would know where you are."
Asia held his gaze. "What can I do then?"
"I can invite your two Malfoy friends here," he suggested.
Asia nodded, and made to get up, but she realized the blanket Hagrid had put over her was very heavy. She could barely move under it, let alone pick it up. She pointed to it and Hagrid hastily pulled it up.
"I'm sorry," he said. "I forget how fragile witches can be."
Asia shot him a look. She looked out the window to see a dark sky. Stars winked out between clouds. "How long til you can call them?"
"Saturday is tomorrow, and it's not long til morning," said Hagrid. "Soon."
