Mild blood and fantasy violence! Not that bad though.
I coughed, blood running down my chin onto the grass. My mind was woozy, I could barely keep my balance. Everything was blurry and distorted, and every word I hear was distant and far away.
"Asia..?"
I heard something like running feet and crunching tree twigs and branches. I brought in a sucky, sharp breath and stumbled forward. I noticed a pale figure beside me, and out of the corner of my eye I could see a few details.
Lucas.
I tried to crawl towards him, but a pain stabbed through my head. My eyeballs felt like they were being squeezed. With all the strength I could muster I pulled out my wand, and muttered a spell. Slowly, my eyesight became better, and I preformed it on Lucas.
"Lucas," I cried, and he turned to face me.
"W-what..." he said, his youthful stutter appearing like it did when he was nervous.
"Lucas," I said. "The spell I cast won't last long. Handison's curse will kill us. " I gazed at him from over the fallen, frosty leaves. The winter wind cut at our faces. "What did he do to you?"
Lucas shivered and crawled over to me. "I feel woozy. He... he told me that he was gonna kill you two..." he said.
"Did he say which two?"
"No..." Lucas coughed, the ground littered with pools of blood.
"I figured it out, Lucas..." I said.
"What?"
"Tom... needs to destroy Handison… using dark magic." I said, my head getting light. "He needs to fight him with his greatest and most despised weapon..."
"Fight fire with fire," commented Lucas, and I nodded. "You need to tell him."
I stared at Lucas. "The only way..." I breathed hard, "is to use the curse I was given."
Lucas's eyes widen. "Asia, no..." he said. "We may get out alive this way, but if you use the curse-"
I cut him off. "Near the end of someone's life," I said, "when the curse is closest to killing you, you can draw great power from it." I smiled, and brought my wand up to my chest. "But you have to speed it up."
"You'll be speeding it up by 3 years!" shouted Lucas, his blind eyes focused on me. "I... I thought we were going to get married... maybe have a family... before you died..." his eyes welled with tears, and I had to bit them back myself.
"I know," I said. "But if you lost Tom, what good would that do?"
I stood up, and pulled Lucas up. "I love you, you know that?" I said, and he smiled through his sadness. "When I die," I said, "Promise me you'll find someone else." I began to wave my wand with my free hand, the one that wasn't holding Lucas's, but he seized both of them and kissed me.
"No," he said, "I won't find anyone else like you."
I walked slowly towards the sounds of intense yelling, the leave crunching and my wand waving around my chest. As I approached the pine trees, I saw Tom and Handison- flanked by three people, who I guessed were Wren, Andrew, and Nara.
As I went into the open, Handison's gaze snapped on me. "You're supposed to be dead."
"And you're supposed to know..." I breathed hard, "That I'm the world's smartest teenager. TOM!" I yelled, "YOU NEED TO USE DARK MAGIC ON HIM!"
Handison's gaze snapped back to Tom. He grinned maliciously. "Show me," he said, directing his words at both me and Tom, "Show me what you have, what belongs to me."
"Nothing belongs to you," hissed Tom. He lifted his hands in unison with mine, and our hands pulsed with misty, rotating balls of black magic. I stumbled slightly, the lack of sleep from the night before gripping me, but I regained my balance.
"Ready..." I breathed, and Tom nodded.
Wren leapt forward to take the first blow, her body disintegrating with the impact. The next blow was taken by Nara, but Andrew was smart enough apparently to not throw his life away at the expense of saving his master for only a moment, Instead he began using magic, blocking blows with apparent ease. I started breathing harder than ever, while Tom barely seemed winded.
"Have you been practicing!?" I hissed at him.
But then a spell hurled towards me. I could not dodge, it was too fast and I was too weak- but a change was taking place in my body.
"WHERE'S THE GIRL?" shouted Handison.
"THE CAT!" screeched Andrew, and Tom glanced immediately down at my black figure.
I wheezed hard, but managed the strength to transform back again. As I stumbled, I realized we were back where Lucas was, crouched on the ground. I collapsed beside him, my vision fading and my body contorting in pain.
The curse had reached its end.
I reached out for Lucas's hand, and we weakly clasped fingers. "I love you," I said.
"I do too."
With a final look at Tom, I said, "It's up to you." As my vision faded into black and pain crept into every inch of my body, my shoulder scar throbbing, I sighed. This was the end.
The...end.

I love you, Hazyl, and Toby and Willow.
I love you, Hogwarts.
I love you, Tom... and Lucas.
I love you... but love can't save everyone.
