Who were they?

Last week, Asia Abernathy-Lovegood and Lucas Malfoy were confirmed dead. Yesterday a funeral was held. Friends and family of the deceased were asked to attend this celebration of life. Our very own reporter Dennis Swan reported from the scene.
"Everyone was mourning the loss." says Swan. "Even the famed Draco Malfoy, Hermione Granger, and Luna Lovegood were in attendance."
Lucas Malfoy was around 18 when he died last week. According to his mother, Hermione Granger, he was a sweet child. "Even being blind," she says in a speech, "he was the most insightful person many of us knew." His brother, Tom, who was also there, refused to speak to our reporter but commented to other attendees about his brother. Lucas was taught at Hogwarts school. He was reported missing to the press for a few months before his mother told us he was on a "Trip" with his brother Tom and his fellowly-deceased friend Asia. The reason why he was killed is not known to the public, and the friends and family of him will not give us more details.
Asia Abernathy-Lovegood was a student of Hogwarts also, and also a celebrated debater and witch. Her adoptive mother was Luna Lovegood, who told us she misses her daughter more than anything in the world. Asia appeared on the WWN several times before attending Hogwarts as a mere 10 year old. Like Lucas, she was reported missing several times throughout her education. While she was found and graduated early, she returned to Hogwarts for unspecified reasons. Shortly after, she was killed by an unknown force. Perhaps, as some suggest, she committed suicide. It was also recently discovered that she had an ancient Blood Curse, and those people suggest that she would rather die on her own terms then to some incontrollable force.
Swan managed to talk to a few attendees on their opinion of the two. One woman, named Hazyl, told us that she knew them when they were younger. Her friend, Willow, told us also that these two were lovers, while another person assured us they were just friends. When we asked Tom, the closest person to them at the time of their death, he refused once again to answer,
Some people have theorized Tom was the cause of their untimely death.
The woman glanced down at her son. "They were good people," she said. Her hair was brown, her eyes like fire. "I knew them," she admitted to her nephew, and smiled kindly at him. "Do you wanna hear a story?"
The boy looked up and smiled."Okay, Auntie Hazyl." From the woman's pocket, she pulled a journal, frayed and black. On it, "Asia's Journal" was written. Clearing her throat, Hazyl began to read the first entry.
"I stared wistfully out my window. The sky was a pure blue, Paired with the cool September air, it was a perfect day..."
