Accidentia Chapter 9- co-op by -GEMHeart- and ~ArtistGirl`
Vivi's POV
"Felix?" I glanced over at the boy, "Why are you looking at me like that?"
We were sitting in a tree in a local park, scouting out people and finding out ways to find this woman. One hand clutched on my phone, the other was keeping me balanced in the tree. Felix, who had glanced at me, startled, laughed.
"You're good at drawing. It almost looked exactly like her."
I smiled sadly. "Back... back when I was a bit more normal, I was an AP student. I was really good at portraits too, like realism stuff. I sold them on Etsy and things for good money every once in a while."
Felix smiled at me again.
I glanced at the picture as the wind rustled my sweater and hair. A tall woman, with an angled body, her black, grey-rooted hair, falling to her mid-back. Her eyes, dark and scathing. She seemed like someone I had met before... someone I had known when I was young.
A woman who always told me I could do better. She came to me in dreams, and even once approached me personally, after the family cat died. She had worn a dark violet dress, almost a black color, and a faux fur shawl was wrapped around her shoulders, which were uncovered by the cold-shoulder, knee-length tight dress. She had walked with confidence, and she was beautiful, but she had a cold, evil aura around her.
And she was special. She told me herself, "I am not one of them. You are one of me. We are the aliens, ones they hate. Ones who will destroy them, to meet our ends."
Why was I remembering her only now?
"There!"
We had been wandering around a few English towns for the better part of an hour. Felix was up, pointing, at a woman who was walking towards us. She was smiling, and she greeted us like a mother.
"Hello, Felix." said the woman kindly.
Felix flinched. His eyes were hard.
And she turned to me. "Viviane. Hello, child. I knew you'd remember."
I shook my head, and my voice became a faint, high whisper. "What do you want from us?"
