Rookie’s reenlistment
The rookie staggered out of the cockpit door, and he kicked open a hatch to find the spare armor. Pulling on the Marine Battle Dress, he grabbed a chainsaw and clipped a can of fuel into his backpack. He then grabbed the double barrel shotgun clipped into the roof of the cockpit and modified it to have a claw. He then stuffed the extra ammo into his pockets. As he walked to the loading ramp, a mysterious device fired up and opened a portal. The rookie was sucked into it and he blacked out…
The rookie was violently thrown into a pile of rubble and his bloodied vision cleared up. He woke up and looked around, this seemed to be a fortress of some sort, and not just any fortress. His helmets translator translated a sign from Russian thta said “Brest Fortress.” The rookie looked around and saw… some marines… and the pilot of the pelican. The rookie walked up and heard the story behind all this. A ship of unknown origin began shooting some strange devices that latched itself inside assault craft and brought them down. When the marines got sucked out, they had gotten sucked to Brest Fortress. But they were interrupted by a Russian officer ordering the soldiers to attack. The marines desperately tried to communicate bu there held at gunpoint and had to attack as well. A shrill whistle down the lines of men shook the men to action. Everyone was screaming and rushing a fortified German position too close to the fortress. The rookie, who was the first to get in sight of a machine gun, used the hook on his shotgun to reel it in, breaking it with the shotgun blast. Switching to the chainsaw, he fired it up and the German soldiers immediately ran back to the trench behind. Which was good, but more bad. A tank had fired a shot and wiped out a large number of attackers, and now everyone was screaming as they ran forward. The rookie switched back to the shotgun and reloaded it, which he proceeded to massacre the Germans. Terrified, they allowed themselves to be killed by the Russians. The rookie went on to deal with the tank. The commander opened the hatch and was attempting to shot Rookie. Rookie reloaded and grabbed the commander with the claw, reeling him in and massacring him. Now with no command, the tankers were struggling to aim the gun, which rookie took out the chainsaw and began cutting the tank.
It was nearly nighttime when a Russian officer stopped the rookie. He had already carved the tank in half, with the turret mangled nearby. The officer guided the rookie back, but just as the rookie got back, he started vibrating and began getting sucked up into the sky. The ODST was then dropped into a landing craft and thrown a… rifle? A sudden whistling came down upon the boat and blew a hole in the middle of the boat. The boat crashed into a “hedgehog” coastal defense, where another hole was punctured in the side. The charred remains of men were scattered and toured to the walls of the boat. A sudden burst of machine gun fire smacked into the side of the boat. The rookie slowly moved to the emergency release wheel. The Rookie lowered the ramp, and walked out, imddeiatly a artillery shell plunged itself into a rock next tit the rookie. The shell hissed and shot a sharp rock into the rookie’s visor. The rock missed his eye, but as rookie pulled the still hot rock out of his helmet, the helmet became unusable. So the rookie picked up a dead soldiers helmet and the rookie slammed his slain helmet into his backpack. He then proceeded to grapple into the the bunker using the shotgun hook. After some brutal mangling of the Germans, he was then pulled into… A desert battlefield?
