The Sacrifice, part I
Jhonn thought about crashing the Pelican into the Scarab, but Jhonn had never once had a single thought about suicide. But Jhonn had seen enough. He thought of his whole team, that was dead. His enemy team that he had signed a contract to fight on a permanent basis was dead. He watched his friends die in a fiery oblivion, his ODST friends had died from failure to land properly, or those brave enough to stand in the way of the Plasma Cannon. Jhonn no longer had living friends, not even family. His family was killed slowly, one by one from the government of child presidents. Jhonn had nothing to lose. He then took a deep breath, and accelerated forward, the Pelican’s thrusters beginning to smoke and groan. Just as the Plasma Cannon was about to aim for Jhonn, Jhonn ran back into the troop bay, grabbed a crate of grenades, and began detonating all of them. The Pelican crashed, with Jhonn on board, and all the grenades exploding one by one.
