Vivi's POV
Something screamed ahead of me, and Felix jolted. The woman was smiling, and a cold wind was streaming from behind her, rustling her shawl and dark hair. I shielded myself with my arms, but my clothes and hair were spinning in the strong breeze as well.
"Go get it," was her first words. "Kill the monster, and develop your powers."
"No!" hissed Felix, rather sharply. He stood firm.
The woman smiled and said, "but don't you hear the pain?"
I looked around. I could hear more screaming, now the screaming of people. I glanced around, and could see the monster in the distance: grey, ashen, and faded, but very much alive and covered in red blood.
"Morality VS evil." said the woman knowingly, and it made me hate her even more. "You know you should save them, but because I say it, it must be wrong, evil. I can help you. I can aid you, child."
I hissed at her, and directed my eyes towards the screaming.
I took a breath.
"I'll kill everyone if I do it here."
"Then go to it." said the woman. "Isn't that common sense?"
I stared at her. If I left her, she could follow us, she could take us. If I didn't go, people would die. Where was Ilia? She could help. John could, too. I gritted my teeth, and decided.
"Felix. Cmon."
