So about a week ago I asked my friend why she didn't have a birthday party this year. I asked her why she didn't invite me, since we are pretty close and I invited her to my party. She said it was because I had told her I was lesbian and her parents think that isn't right. I felt bad we couldn't hang out so I told her I was over it a couple days ago. Should I have done this? I need helppppp

I feel bad, I would hate this situation. So, I think maybe you shouldn't have said that. It's kinda like pushing your sexuality away and saying it doesn't exist. You guys can totally  still be friends, you just might not be invited to her b-day party and stuff.

Dude!! Can you hide that before anyone else sees my name?!! I'm sorry, but I don't want my name on here even if it isn't my full name. To hide it, you just press the little light bulb.

Monkeymad60 accidentally made a comment with my name in it (we know each other in real life, she is one of my best friends) I just asked her to hide it. No biggie

If she doesnt like lgbtq people then i think you should just let her be and not be friends with her if she doesnt want to... Idk

The problem with that’s is, the friend accepts LGBTQ+ People, but it’s her parents who don’t like them.

Not trying to be rude or anything, I didn’t want to make you feel bad. That is good advice though.

Well, It really isn't her fault her parents think that. I think you two can still be friends because really, we are all just people after all and our sexuality doesn't change that. If she's a good friend you should stay friends!

She is probably your friend but just has homophobic parents.
