Just wondering.

Question

Why are we not allowed to post pictures of our faces? I mean, I get that this is the internet, and maybe posting our full name might get us in trouble, but it’s hard to connect face to name and find out where that person lives, etc. Ya know what I mean? I am not trying to question your rules or requirements to be on this site, just wondering.

Jelly, it's because of privacy reasons and to be sure that you are 100% safe here, I guess. I know it would have been really cool if we could see each other's faces, but still.

You never know who is an adult. Some of the top users here with thousands of points are surely adults acting as kids.

Strangers that have access to this public forum could find your name and address from just a picture of your face. We need to keep you safe!

Faces are very personal. They can be used to identify you  (if someone gets a hold of your face they could probably find out your real full name too, and other things). Although KS is a very safe website, there are a lot of creeps on the internet that could get a hold of your face and do God knows what with it. It's better to be safe than sorry and just not go through that risk.

I think it's because there are creeps on the internet and were children, even though that wouldn't happen on this site.
