I was doing a redraw challenge of Emily Grace (go to KidzNet to see the drawings) and I found the very first time I started writing about Emily. This was a while ago when I still had called it My Story, which was a bit before I started writing it on KidzTalk, when it had a different plot (and the other plot ended up collapsing, so I tried again with the same characters). Some things are a little different and might not match up with the current version, but feel free to read!
My Story prologue.
I was 14, lying on my bed sketching, when i heard it. Nothing before then could have been better, i had a good life, plenty of friends, good grades, a good life at home. But everything changed, from the moment I was sketching to when I heard the gunshots, then the screams, then the eerie silence, then the footsteps drawing closer. That's when I saw his face with the ugly scar going from above his left eye to under his right. I felt a pain in y arm and everything faded. I woke up in a hospital, not knowing how I got there. "Where are my mom and dad?" I asked. No one replied in the hospital with anything other than a sad look. That's when I knew, my parents, died, murder. I didn't say anything else, i knew I couldn't say anything without sobs. Instead I went into deep thought, wondering what would happen. I didn't know my godmother at the time, nor if I had one, but I do, or I did. It's kinda funny how you can have everything one moment, then have nothing the next. I found out my house had burned down while I was in the hospital. Everything was gone.
