Modern humans have been around for about 200,000 years. This is based on fossils we have found.

they have actually been on this earth for as long as when God first created Eden and placed Adam and Eve there to replenish the Earth with all of its people. :D I know this answer is a BIT religious but my religion is my testimony and explanation for all un-scientifically proven things in this universe.
