the black hole would stretch it out like clay, then inhale, completely destroying it, but idk what happens after that because matter can't be destroyed...

I've never really studied black holes but I know one thing for sure: they devour whatever is in their paths. Therefore, unless we are located on some other planet, we cannot survive a black hole. I also assume iron would just be engulfed by the black hole as easily as anything else.
