So, I say, tell your parents you won’t post anything with your face or private info on it. You will only look at the videos your’e friends post, so that your parents won’t think you are looking at videos with language, etc. If they still say no, find something that can replace TikTok. Some kid friendly social medias that will feel just like TikTok. PS. I’m not allowed to use social media or even have a phone until I’m 16. 

If you are 11+ get PopJam. If you are 12+ you can get KidzWorld. GromSocial is safe and is like a TikTok for kids. Common Sense Media rates it a 7+ it’s safe, but your parents will either have to give a phone call to Grom, or pay one dollar for you to get an account

Zingzini is one too. It’s a bit...babyish, but not too much. Zingzini is also known as the TikTok for kids. It’s ages 5+

Hi! So, I used to have the same problem. I downloaded tiktok, even tho I wasn't allowed. I recommend talking abt it to your parents, maybe negotiating a bit. If they have made it clear they really don't want you on it, I wouldn't download it, but if you really wanna download it, here's what to do:

Don't. Share. Personal. Info. Only gender, age and interests. No other social media, then literally anyone has access to it.

Depends on your age. I'd say 10+ since it's a 12+ app, and there are some weird, inappropriate things on there.

Don't download it unless you REALLY want to, but your parents will find out eventually (Trust me, it happened to me, but we came up with a deal and I still have it.)
