Can you please allow animated GIF files to be able to be used as profile picture?

I have made this animated GIF and have tried to set it as a profile picture but it is not animated when viewing my profile:

It might be possible when we do our next release. The current version resizes and stores your image as a different type of image file that cannot be animated.
