As you have probably noticed, we are in the process of gradually redesigning the entire site. The Comic Sans Font has valid uses, such as making it clear that something is for kids. However, we need to weigh it against ease of reading if the content is long. We are using a different font now, but Comic Sans will still make an appearance when there is a good fit. I think we did overuse it in the past when not that many people knew about us in order to emphasize that the content was designed for kids.
