I really want a boyfriend, but I'm too young!

Please, I need help! I really want a boyfriend, like, maybe next year since the school I'm going to go to is going to be a secondary middle school and high school, I'm only in elementary school 6th grade, I know, I'm too young and everything, but still, there are so many cute boys in the school I'm going to next year! Please tell me if I sound stupid or whatever... but I really need help and want a boyfriend.

Don't feel stupid- you should hear me telling my brother how cute and sooooo perfect a "certain MCYT" is XD You can date if you really feel like it, but it's not going to be as eventful or breezy as you think!

1. Real relationships ARE high-maintenance: They really are! You have to be both emotionally and mentally healthy. It doesn't matter who you choose to be with- you two WILL fight, and you will both have to compromise if you truly want the relationship to last. However, don't be a doormat! Then he could just be using you... anyway, off-topic XD They also require maturity. LOTS of it!

2. No car or license: There's no way he could take you out on an actual date without a car, and being driven by your boyfriend's mom is the most awkward thing in the entire world! Plus, are you two allowed to go anywhere alone? It's also awkward when his mom is sitting three tables away... and the "under the slide date" is rock- bottom romance. Although, it is pretty funny...!

3. However...: Your going into jr. high/ middle school, so let the dancing commence! A date to the school dance would be a blast! Plus, no parent supervision required!

4. Maybe you shouldn't listen to me: I'm 15, no boyfriend- EVER. I have never held hands, kissed, or told a boy I like him. So I really don't have experience, but I do watch a lot of TV! lol

5. Last thing: I know you want to talk freely with a guy, but believe me- they are SO IMMATURE at your age! Although you may be able to pull your own weight, he may not. Seriously, I couldn't say anything without a boy turning it into a dirty joke :( Friends is usually the way to start, and if they prove to you they are truly "boyfriend material," you can begin to consider it, Also, talk with your parents before hand. My mom would be livid if she found out I was dating and didn't tell her XD But otherwise, nothing's stopping you!

Listen,  you can talk to me about anything, and I mean ANYTHING. You wouldn't believe the things I've heard over the past few years XD Seriously. Anything!

Hey. Ive had like two boyfriends. Most of these people are right. It really is stressful trying to make it work. Its really good till you have to go through the parent check. Well I don't know if its different with you or guys but my dad hit all the weak spots for us to break up. Also, I said it may be different with guys because my dads so homophobic. But its good to have parents to hit weak spots, then you know they are boyfriend materia. But Ill tell you that you guys will sometimes stop talking for a while. And trust me dont date someone who has a bad reputation. Im in the 7th grade too. Youll love it but people start to bully. My some what friends call me gay boy. I like the nickname a little. Although, if you like someone they may not notice. Its heart breaking when happens. I hope this helps.

In my opinion, the older you are when you start looking for a boyfriend, the better. Why would you want to go through the pain and stress of dating and breaking up when you're not even considering marriage or anything like that? That's just what I think. Do with it what you will.

Well, I only said that I want a boyfriend, not need, but also, I have thought about it, and TBH the reason I want a boyfriend is that I can have someone to talk to freely that's not in my family, and not a friend, because, well, sometimes(usually) I want someone else to talk to and also since I like guys... I know that my answer isn't a good answer, but that's just my answer, no judging, please.
