Hanae Mori

She was the first Asian woman to be honored as an official haute couture design house by the Fédération française de la couture in France.[2] She was honored with the Order of Culture (Japan) in 1996.

Mori died on 11 August 2022 at her home in Tokyo, Japan from cardiopulmonary arrest at the age of 96.[3]
