Ayatollah Taqi Mesbah[1] (Persian: تقی مصباح‌; born Taqi Givechi, Persian: تقی گیوه‌چی), commonly known as Mohammad-Taqi Mesbah-Yazdi (Persian: محمدتقی مصباح‌ یزدی, 31 January 1935 – 1 January 2021) was an Iranian Shi'i cleric, philosopher and conservative political theorist. He was a spiritual leader of the Front of Islamic Revolution Stability. From 1999 to 2016, he was a member of the Assembly of Experts. Mesbah Yazdi was born in Yazd, Iran.

Mesbah Yazdi died on 1 January 2020 in Tehran at aged 85.[2]
