Hi as an early christmas present i got a nintendo to share with my brother i have never played them before can i have advice on how to play and that thing

I wish I had a nintendo. My mom won't let me have one, but my friends have one.

I have one, too! It's easy to understand:

Some games you have to have cards in order to play; EX Mario Kart 8, Lugi's manision, ect.

So the other ones, you will need to save progress on. Examples like Zelda, you need to save your progress before going into a new game.

You can take screenshots by using the little square button on the bottom left corner JoyCon.

How do you add friends.....uhm...I'm actually not very sure. If you make an account for yourself, you should be able to go into your account settings and add friends there.

I don't add any friends, so I'm not the best at answering that questions. Hope it helps!

if u wanna add a friend u have to know their friend code and u have to have a nintendo online subscription to add friends and play online.

I’m not sure... bc I had a new 2ds xl instead of a switch (the switch is way to big for me to hold) but my  advice is do not hold the whole thing, just hold the 2 joy-cons, the cyan on your left hand and the red on your right hand while using
