Im confused

where to begin..... i like my friend (lets say bob). He asked me to the last dance and i really like him, he likes me too, and we've gone on 3 dates. how do i determine if we're dating or not? he also hasn't asked me to the formal yet which is like 3 weeks away. IDK WHAT TO DO

If you go on dates, doesn't that mean you're dating ? I guess. You guy's seem to really like each other. Also, Some people are just procrastinators. Maybe he isn't thinking to much of it.

Question: how old are you guys ?

Age, to me, is important for this type of situation.

But what do I know... I've never liked somebody.
