Umm that's not good!

Sometimes a baby is horrible for a mother and can cause serious health problems for the mother.
by
And sometimes people get babies when they don't want them (from people doing things to them, which I probably can't say on KT).
by (925k points)
Agreed!

I used to be against abortion (when I was 9 and didn’t know about it) because it involved killing a baby, but now that I know more about it, I support all the way!

I agree with the Democrats that abortion should be legal nationwide, and with the Republicans that an unborn baby is a living thing.

Is Roe v. Wade a new play by Shakespeare?

Or another company lawsuit (interesting!!)?

Jk!! I know Roe v. Wade is related to abortion, but other than that, I don’t know what it is. And I think abortion is the most boring topic in the world.
by (165k points)
It's the law that made abortion legal in the US
by (925k points)
Ok.

Ok, I doubt I can put every single emoji available on KT here, so here’s the first 8.

I don't like abortion, but I personally think I can't force my beliefs on others so I think it should be their choice. It's sad that part of the constitution was taken away, that would be like taking away the second amendment or taking away the right to gay marriage. But I don't have a strong opinion on this because maybe if people were more responsible they might not need an abortion.
by (165k points)
I agree that you can't push your belief on others "Rules don't chance hearts." but murder is also wrong. Thank you for not getting anger I respect you option even if I do not agree fully.
by (252k points)
Hey, that last one is actually pretty interesting... Just saying :p
by (165k points)
That is true! But sometimes they are forced to or thing that selling them self's is the only option to live

They did nothing, since you can travel to another state and still get one. However, it will only result in countless deaths and hardships for the poor women that need them. The action is a disgrace and makes the U.S. look like fools. The U.S. seems like a dictatorship in my honest opinion. 9 people in the supreme court nobody elected did this to the country. It needs to stop!
by (165k points)

Um they did do something they made a stand yes; they can go to another State but maybe they won't do it if it takes that much time. Also, the State will have made a stand against murdering innocent lives. I just want to say I value your options even though I don't fully agree.

I respect your opinion. However, the United Nations has a lot of data showing that it does not really slow it down much and just results in more women dying. If they need to travel to another state the process has a much higher risk of complications. You will get many women trying to do it themselves or going to illegal unlicensed abortion clinics near them. When that happens, as you can probably imagine, horrible results and deaths will be happening each day. Having a child is a major life altering decision, so it is not very likely that a person would avoid it because they need to travel to another state and it is just "inconvenient."

When does life start for you? At one day? One second? Where do you draw the line and say it is okay, or is their none for you?

The United Nations (UN) has condemned the ruling of the United States supreme court that there is no constitutional right to abortion in the country.

On Friday, in a 6-3 decision, the court had overturned Roe v. Wade, the historic 1973 ruling that affirmed the constitutional right to abortion in the US.

Courtesy of the reversal of the law, US states will now be allowed to determine their own abortion laws as they deem fit.

More than 20 states are expected to outlaw or restrict abortion following the ruling.

In a statement of Saturday, Michelle Bachelet, UN’s high commissioner for human rights, described the court’s judgment as a huge blow to women’s rights.

“Access to safe, legal and effective abortion is firmly rooted in international human rights law and is at the core of women and girls’ autonomy and ability to make their own choices about their bodies and lives,”  the UN said.

“This decision strips such autonomy from millions of women in the US, in particular, those with low incomes and those belonging to racial and ethnic minorities.

“More than 50 countries with restrictive laws have relaxed their abortion laws in the past 25 years.

“With today’s ruling, the US is regrettably moving away from this progressive trend.”

President Joe Biden had described the judgement as a tragic error.

UN human rights experts have also denounced the supreme court ruling and urged Biden to take all necessary measures to mitigate its consequences.

In a joint statement, the experts branded the judgement “a monumental setback for the rule of law and for gender equality,” describing the ruling as shocking and dangerous.

They said the move would create “a nightmare scenario for those dealing with the uncertainty and trauma of an unplanned pregnancy” by increasing the number of women and girls seeking clandestine and unsafe abortions, while fueling abortion stigma.

The statement was backed by eight special rapporteurs and the UN working group on discrimination against women and girls.

UN experts do not speak for the global body but report their findings to it.

Yes, I do understand that it didn't slow it down much, but I still think they made the right choice. Also, I do understand that there are certain scenarios where you could end up carrying a baby against your will but sometimes it is these girls' fault not all the time but sometimes. I think they should never kill a baby never I told you above like starts at the first second.

Tw: death

I'm just worried about people having to carry stillbirths/miscarriages to term and having to deliver babies that kill the baby/mom.
Maybe there should be some acceptions for certain situations (as the baby is already dead/will die/will kill the mom & baby).
I understand not everyone feels this way. But some states are banning this, and it doesn't make much sense to me. The baby is already dead, and could cause harm to the mother.
Other than that, :)

They could open up the stomach. And if I'm truthful I don't real know how I feel in those circumstance if there already dead I mean, I do know it's wrong to kill it at any time of pregnancy 1 day in to 9 months. Thanks for not getting angry, I want you and everyone to know I value their options even if they contradict mine (not saying I believe in everyone's options).
by (19.6k points)
Yeah, I just figure if it's already died, there's no reason to carry it to term. Plus it could affect the mother's health.

That's the problem I have with a COMPLETE ban.

Thanks for responding respectfully, people can get really carried away on here :))
