KidzTalk Has Been Updated

Question

We updated KidzTalk today. The changes are not major, but the site should be faster and you will notice some differences:

• User points will use 'k' if you are above 999
• Search feature has been improved  
• Improved styling, like the tags
• All users have a default avatar now unless one is uploaded
• Added some new badges
• We are now giving out points for comments and comment up votes
• If you hover over a question you can see more detail about it
• The leaderboard list has been increased to the top 50 users
• New Flat theme added as an option in your profile (thanks to user Pumpkin for making it)

If you noticed any problems or things you don't like, please let us know. We tried to keep all previous functionality as best as possible.

With the update we can now add newer themes, so if you see any you really like, or want to make one for us, you can mention it. Also, please provide any features or improvement suggestions.

How does KT showing more information if we hover over a question work on mobile devices (phones, tablets, etcetera)?

It may work on some devices if you do a long press on a link, but is really designed for desktops or chromebooks.

It is active. You will now get points for an accepted comment, or if one of your comments are upvoted. Comments and comment upvotes are worth 10 points. However, a comment can only get a maximum of 50 points for upvotes.
