I made this up myself. Another for you guys whose pet(s) has/have died.

"You see me lying here in the soil beneath my stone

The grave besides the laughing gnomes.

You pay no attention, you  only looked at me

But don't worry I'm were I want to be.

You know I am in heaven running wild and free

I cannot tell you how much I miss you standing next to me.

Your laugh when I would pull your scarf halfway across the room

You would let me roam across the moor.

I have come to tell you a few things:

That I never left you,

I never didn't love you even if I did act like it,

And that I am not really under this soil,

I am in heaven where I want to be, waiting for you."
