Why is there no pages about band-aids?

Im doing a research task on Earle Dickson the creator of the band-aid, and I need to know how band-aids impacted the environment. I have searched everywhere and  still can’t find anything reliable.

You don't need a source, really! Just think about it logically- do kids lose/ tear them off and litter? What impacts do the materials used to make band-aids have on the environment? Are band-aids biodegradable? Are there any other alternatives??
